Pricing & Policies

Warning! These are meant as general guidelines only.
There are so many different factors that go into developing a website, it would be foolish to give a mmenu with set prices. But, I did want to give you some general idea of what's involved and how it can look, financially.

Yes, I take any form of american currency or credit cards.
Generally, the system is half payment at the start of the project, and the final at upload or final approval.

 Starter Site

   $1200.00 flat rate, or 950.00 – 1500.00  depending on details, images or customizations.
 Website Design Pricing
A major advantage of the web is that, as your business grows and evolves, so can your website. A starter site is for when you want a 'presence' online, but just want to get your feet wet while you test the waters.
   You can choose from  6 pre-designed (by me) 'templates' customize colors & photos and take it from there.

  A Simple Site

   $1500.00 flat rate, or 1200.00 – 2500.00  depending on details, images or customizations.
   Just the facts, ma'am.  Customized design to reflect your business, this is a site with 3 - 5 pages with basic information and one or 2 images per page.

 Blog Site (self-updatable website)

   A blog has many advantages.  Whether it's used as a blog that's a part of your site, or your whole site is built this way, it is meant to be updated often. Search Engines love websites that are updated often. They're seen as 'active' and therefore more valuable to searchers.
   The other advantage to a blog site is that the owner has the ability to do the updates , rather than having to go back to the web dessigner  for every little change.
   Maybe the most important reason for a blog is that you become a resource for people looking for services such as yours. You're educating them, and become seen as a trusted 'expert'.
   When I do this kind of site for someone,  I spend a some time helping them to get to know how the updating process works.
   $1000.00 flat rate, or 1200.00 – 2500.00  depending on details, images and design customizations.

  * * Custom Designed Professional Website * *

These descriptions and prices are rough estimates, since each project has it's own needs

  – A. (Small)

This is a site that is a custom designed dtatement about your business, and who you want to attract to it.
It is considered 'small' because it usually contains 4 - 6 inside pages,
2 -3 images per page (average), content is delivered complete.

   $1500.00 – 2500.00  depending on details, images and design customizations.

  – B. (Medium)

Same as above plus;
additional pages (2 -3 sub-pages under each main category), up to 50 photos, sometimes in slideshow (gallery) format, a contact form and a box of chocolates.
   $2500.00 – 5000.00  depending on elements, images and design customizations.

  – C. (Large)

And more.
This category is more or less for the works.
Everything that you need for your (more complex) business site to emerge with a strong web presence.  This could include many pages, registration/appllication forms, e-commerce, video, flash and full social media integration.
It could also mean hiring  copywriters, photographers or developers.
   $5000.00 – 12,000.00  depending on elements, images and design customizations.

  Consultation

Consultation comes in 2 flavors (probably more);
  – A few hours where we go over your website and how it could work better for your business.
  –  A more in-depth look at your site, your blog, social media etc, specific tactics to work on with the idea of a re-design at some point in the near future. (not necessarily with me)
   This is generally an hourly fee of $90. per hour with a 2 hour minimum.
   It can also be arranged as a set fee for a period of time, or a series of meetings.

Policies

  General Agreement

There is no one agreement, since each site is unique, but you can see the basics here.

  Change Order

Once we've agreed on the scope of a project and all that it entails and  settled on a fee for that work, any additional workoutside of that scope, or changes will be charged for separately.

  Payment Options

Payment is agreed upon at the outset of the project,  based on criteria we've discussed and signed off on. For most projects, 1/2 payment is due at the start of the project and the final payment at upload.

Credit cards, paypal, checks and paper money are all fine.
