I've been designing websites for over a dozen years, and still find it magical. It was the magic that attracted me to it in the first place.

I had been doing illustration and design when I decided to self-publish a children's book on adoption, and put it online.

This was not as easy as it sounds now. At that point, I'd never even owned a computer! The first iMacs came out and the ad campaign made it sound so simple, I got one, took a few workshop-type classes, and it was off to the races. Well, the starting gate, anyway. So, as my book endeavor unveiled itself, there suddenly bacame so much more to learn, and within a couple of years, I was teaching web design at local colleges!
